Lektor

Šárka is a PhD. candidate in Anglo-American literatures and part-time tutor at KAA. Her doctoral research focuses on the Scottish islands as setting in crime fiction. She teaches the first-year bachelor course Introducton to the Study of Literature. Her further academic interests are other 21st century crime fictions, including YA; island settings outside of crime fiction and the portrayal of mental hospitals and mental illness in world literature (especially female "madness").
